FEMA using social media

Recently there have been many examples of how social media is changing and catalyzing social revolution throughout the world. Today, we are seeing the topple of a regime in Egypt, in part due to social media by its use and ability to spread information virally and thus influence behaviour.

And, so it is changing how emergency relief organizations are responding to emergencies. Here is an article on how FEMA’s, Craig Fugate views the use of social media, especially Twitter.
